Preamble

  1. These general conditions of sale are agreed upon between Salt&Sugar Shoes, headquartered at RUA DOS MEIRAIS, 667, 3720-750 SÃO ROQUE, Tax ID 514 033 894, contact +351 961 352 120, hereinafter referred to as “Salt&Sugar Shoes”, and individuals wishing to make purchases through the website www.saltndsugar.com, hereinafter referred to as “User”.

  2. The parties agree that purchases made through the website www.saltndsugar.com shall be exclusively governed by this contract, excluding any previous terms available on the website.

Article 1 – Object

  1. These general conditions of sale aim to provide and define all necessary information to the User regarding ordering, sales, payment, and delivery of purchases made on www.saltndsugar.com.

  2. These conditions regulate all steps required to place an order and ensure its proper handling between the contracting parties.

Article 2 – Order

  1. The User places an order by completing the purchase process on the website, adding the desired product(s) or service(s) to the shopping cart.

  2. To submit an order, the User must:
    a) Register on www.saltndsugar.com, providing the requested information;
    b) Log in (using the email and password chosen during registration);
    c) Complete all required information and select options during checkout (delivery and billing address, shipping method, payment method, Tax ID, and name for invoicing purposes).

  3. Final confirmation of the order by the User constitutes full acceptance of product prices and descriptions, as well as these Terms and Conditions of Sale, which shall exclusively govern the concluded contract.

  4. Salt&Sugar Shoes will fulfill online orders only up to available stock. If a product is unavailable, the User will be informed as soon as possible.

  5. Information provided on the invoice is the User’s sole responsibility. Once issued, invoices cannot be reissued with modifications.

  6. Orders are valid for 3 (three) days, except when registered under a promotional campaign with a different timeframe. Prices, discounts, promotions, or offers cannot be guaranteed beyond this period. Payments received after this period will be refunded or used for a new order.

Article 3 – Payment

  1. On www.saltndsugar.com, Salt&Sugar Shoes offers the following payment methods via Easypay - Instituição de Pagamento Lda:
    a) Credit card (Visa, Mastercard)
    b) Multibanco reference
    c) Bank transfer

  2. For credit card payments, the card will be charged immediately after order dispatch confirmation. If any products are out of stock, the amount will be credited back to the card after order closure.

Article 4 – Delivery

  1. Orders will be delivered within 5 business days after purchase, using GLS as the carrier.

  2. Shipping costs are fully covered by Salt&Sugar Shoes.

Article 5 – Prices

  1. Prices are in Euros, including taxes (VAT applicable at the time of payment).

  2. In the event of a price increase for a product, the User will be informed immediately and may choose to pay the difference or cancel the order.

Article 6 – Cancellation and Returns

  1. Cancellation or return requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. Requests must be sent by email to info@saltndsugar.com within 14 days of the order. Instructions will be provided via the same communication channel.

  2. Whenever possible, refunds will be processed through the original payment method. If not feasible, the User must provide proof of payment and account ownership for bank transfer refunds.

  3. Salt&Sugar Shoes commits to refund the User within 10 days.

  4. Returned products must be in resalable condition, in the same state as received, without damage.

  5. If the value of exchanged products is higher or lower than the original order, adjustments will be made according to Salt&Sugar Shoes’ instructions.

Article 7 – Privacy Policy

Personal data is processed in compliance with data protection laws. Such data will be stored in Salt&Sugar Shoes’ database for the purpose of managing orders, presenting products and services, and providing institutional information. Providing data is optional. Users have the right to access, rectify, or delete any personal data by contacting the address provided on the website homepage.
